Years of Experience
Rooted in Legacy. Driven by Generations. Forging the Future.
For over 52 years, Kamal Group has been a trusted name in India’s steel trading and distribution industry. Established in 1972, the Group has grown from a modest trading enterprise into a multi-faceted business spanning steel trading, iron ore, cement, and manufacturing — all under the visionary leadership of a family committed to long-term value, trust, and excellence.
Led by three generations of leadership, the Group has blended tradition with transformation, constantly adapting to the evolving demands of the industry.
Our Founder
Mr. Kamalnayan Kantilal Mehta
The Foundation of Strength
Born in 1947, Mr. Kamalnayan Mehta founded Kamal Group with a mission to build a business based on integrity, discipline, and customer-centricity. Under his guidance, the Group expanded from steel trading into iron ore and cement, cementing its position as a reliable name in industrial distribution.
His foresight and relationship-building have been instrumental in securing one of the Group’s strongest associations – a 30-year-long partnership with JSW, India’s largest steel manufacturer. Kamal Group has proudly served as one of their key distribution partners since inception.
Mr. Mehta continues to remain deeply involved in the business, guiding strategy and mentoring the next generations.
